Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) in healthcare, academia, and professional associations, while ensuring high scientific standards.

  • Develop, monitor, and ensure objectives of KOL engagement plans are met in a timely, accurate and compliant manner.

  • Deliver high-quality presentation of clinical and disease state information to a variety of audiences, including KOLs, advisors, formulary/decision makers, payers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Serve as scientific resource at key medical, scientific, and patient advocacy conferences as assigned.
  • Conduct therapeutic training to contribute to local medical and cross-functional initiatives
  • Provide field-based medical support to client’s partner clinical research programs, registries and investigator sponsored research as required.
  • Communicate medical insights from HCPs regularly to inform and refine medical strategy and tactics.
  • Provide Medical Affairs coverage for conferences, medical rounds, and company-sponsored meetings Under the guidance of the Medical Director.
  • Be the Subject Matter Expert (SME) on assigned disease areas and products.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of applicable pharmaceutical guidelines and regulations (e.g., ICH, GCP, Ethical Practices) and company policies.

This role covers Quebec with intermittent coverage of the Atlantic provinces and Ontario. Extensive travel is required for this role and occasionally international travel. This role is field-based and externally focused with a minimum of 4 field days/week.

Responsibilities

This opportunity is with our HCP detailing division (physicians and pharmacists), which partners with top tier pharmaceutical, consumer, medical device and biotechnology companies to develop and execute sales and marketing strategies.

PEAK Pharma Solutions is seeking a highly motivated, results-oriented professional for the role of Pharmaceutical Sales Representative to support a sales/marketing program on behalf of a well-established pharmaceutical organization in Canada, covering Toronto and surrounding areas (Richmond Hill/North York). In this role, you’ll work to promote this organization’s prescription brands in the primary care environment, as well as to pharmacists in the area. You’ll be an integral part of developing a local presence on behalf of our client. You will:

  • Using both Peak Pharma’s and our client’s high quality, consistent selling approach, meet your objectives by focusing on building strategic partnerships with physicians to achieve sales targets
  • Develop and execute your territory’s business plan (Richmond Hill/North York)
  • Adhere to assigned call targets as communicated by the field manager
  • Present the brands’ key features and benefits and creatively inform stakeholders about their value
  • Manage and track HCP engagements and samples to maximize activation of brand recommendations by the health care professional
  • Engage in meaningful dialogue that addresses the needs of the various stakeholders including the physician, pharmacist, and the patient
  • Complete both in-field and virtual detailing with targeted customers
  • Build trust and credibility to become a true collaborator in commercial success
  • Manage and maintain expense and promotional budgets for the territory within guidelines
  • Gather and report on field insights by accurately recording daily activities using a CRM system (VEEVA)

Requirements

  • 3+ years recent successful pharmaceutical sales experience
  • Documented proven and consistent track record of achieving sales results in recent years, demonstrated by national and/or regional rankings, awards and goal achievement

  • Ability to travel and possess a valid driver’s licence to drive to assigned HCP accounts unless otherwise specified
