Responsibilities

The tasks and responsibilities include:

Project Management Office

  • Develop a standardized Project Management Office
  • Create a robust process for project management at Aspen with relevant best practice tools – Project Log, Project Charter, Gantt Chart, RACI charts, risk identification and mitigation.
  • Lead and manage day-to-day operational aspects of multiple project‘s scope as agreed with leadership team.
  • Participate in review of potential Aspen projects as deemed necessary.
  • Implementation of a Project Management System (ERP system) to ensure successful management and completion of projects from various streams
  • Responsible for establishing and managing Key Performance Indicators to track success of implementations
  • Developing full-scale project plans and associated communication documents
  • Planning and scheduling project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools
  • Estimating the resources and participants required to achieve project goals
  • Ensuring proper financial management of the project
  • Ensuring proper risk management by documenting all risks and employing an effective mitigation strategy

Cross Functional Projects

  • Lead identified projects. Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business objectives in collaboration with the leadership team and internal stakeholders
  • Identify resources needed and work with department leads to assign individual responsibilities within projects.
  • Creates and execute project plans within agreed timeline and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs
  • Organize meetings with internal and external stakeholders to review project plans, coordinating with different teams and departments regarding timelines, and presenting project initiatives to senior executives.
  • Facilitates workshops to review project issues, next steps and required resolutions
  • Focus on meeting project timelines & within budget
  • Management of project meetings, agendas, and reporting of minutes
  • Ensuring all potential risks are identified, escalated, and mitigated as necessary

New Product Launch

  • Oversees the successful implementation and launch of new products for Aspen
  • Ensure the timeous receipt and processing of all new products for registration and development ensuring maximal commercial success of such new product
  • Interact with supply chain, regulatory, artwork & commercial teams to create appropriate production schedules for new product launches, transitions and line extensions

Reports & Analytics

  • Report on progress of project to all stakeholders on a regular basis
  • Effectively communicate all relevant project information to management, project stakeholders & relevant partners (internal and external).
  • Prepare reports or presentations to track accountability for budget and timeline management of projects
  • Record change management and approvals with necessary tools
  • Maintenance of the project plans by receiving appropriate updates and tracking the relevant project milestones.

Coordination with internal/external stakeholders

  • Convey project changes and updates to appropriate executive team members
  • Resolve and /or escalate issues in a timely fashion to Internal Management team/ external Partners
  • Organize training as required on the PMO tools for the project team

Authority

The authority and resources required to fulfil the responsibilities of the Project Manager will be provided by management. This includes:

  • Requesting product samples required for project
  • Approving logistics invoices for new product launches
  • Approving charges for new ERP system implementation for project tracking
  • Creating and approving purchase orders for vendor services provided on projects

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering or Business
  • Certified Project Management Professional (PMP)
  • Lean Six Sigma certification is a plus

Summary of Position

Roles & Responsibilities

· Build and maintain strategic relationships with national and regional payors, policy makers, HCPs and other relevant stakeholders across Canada.

· Engage with public and private payers to ensure reasonable reimbursement processes for HCPs and patients to simplify access to medication

· Support the management of payer agreements, including execution, renewal and reconciliation.

· Be the responsible person for the delivery of specific projects as outlined in the Canadian business plan and documented as part of the SE&P goals.

· Support the development and delivery of the Canadian operational plan in collaboration with the cross functional team.

· Planning, tracking, and monitoring of budgets for specific projects and customer related activities.

External Stakeholder Relations & Reimbursement (40%)

· Be the primary person responsible for our client’s management of key external stakeholders, including, but not limited to government, payers, policy makers and relevant healthcare providers

· Engage with these stakeholders to secure and maintain appropriate market access to our client’s products

· Responsible for supporting the development and delivery of plans to positively impact the policy environment to improve access to medicines for patients living with rare disease in Canada

· Work with relevant stakeholders to ensure simplify access to in-line products, and accelerate the listing of pipeline products

In this role, you’ll work to promote this organization’s prescription brands in the specialty environment. You’ll be an integral part of developing a local presence on behalf of our client. You will:

  • Execute branding strategies in the field.
  • Ensure the sales performance of the assigned territory

  • Establish and maintain privileged partnership relationships with key customers.

Main responsibilities

  • Achieve all territory business goals, including sales and growth goals. Promote our client’s product (s) and services to key opinion leaders, targeted specialists and healthcare professionals.
  • Understand customer needs and deliver solutions that benefit patients, healthcare professionals and our client.
  • Develop, implement and execute a business plan for the territory.
  • Communicate and collaborate with all members of the cross-functional team to ensure optimal positioning on business opportunities and priorities.
  • Maintain a high level of knowledge on the assigned products and pathologies.
  • Ensure stakeholder identification and liaison with the clinical team, where appropriate, to ensure development.
  • Analyze and report on sales, medical education, monthly plans, calling activities and budgets.
  • Act as a benchmark for our client’s values and behaviours and ethical business practices (compliance with Innovative Medicines Canada, code of conduct, etc.)
  • Represent our client as an innovative and ethical company whose products and services specifically meet the needs of patients and the medical community.

Qualifications

  • University degree, preferably in health sciences or business administration.
  • Minimum of 5 years of sales experience with supporting results.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a hospital, with specialization.
  • Experience in the cardiovascular products market is an asset.
  • Fully vaccinated against COVID
