Main Responsibilities:

  • As an integral member of the Key Accounts team, you will be tasked with attracting, supporting, and retaining some of our most important customers across Canada.
  • Virtually call on decision-makers and their teams to provide product presentations, negotiations, and product demonstrations to clients to increase the adoption of modern treatment practices.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with key pharmaceutical clients in a virtual environment
  • Supporting field-based key account managers with specific aspects of developing and executing key account plans, peer-to-peer education events and KOL development.
  • Act as the product and therapeutic area specialist with a commitment to continually learning disease area treatment trends and evidence.
  • Work cross-functionally with in-house medical, congress and marketing teams to drive effective sales strategies and campaigns.
  • Offer first-line customer support to address inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
  • Maintain accurate call planning records, and up-to-date sales pipeline using CRM tools.
  • You will work out of our client’s downtown TO office when not in field

Education/Competencies Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Business, etc.)
  • 2+ years of successful virtual selling/engagement experience (in Pharma or OTC)
  • Strong virtual sales skills and proficiency in virtual communication tools.
  • Proficiency with all virtual channels/platforms (Zoom, Outlook, MS Teams, Webex, Google Meet, etc.)
  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical products and industry regulations.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales-related tools

  • Proficient in virtual sales techniques and familiar with the selling process.
  • Strong at generating leads and moving potential leads from discovery to close.
  • Good at initiating discussions to unearth problems, present the clinic with solutions tailored to address the problem, and follow up promptly.
  • Courteous and always maintain a professional demeanour.
  • A quick learner, and a self-starter that believes in accountability and results.
  • Detail-oriented and capable of maintaining accurate records and reports.
