This opportunity is with our HCP detailing division, which partners with top tier pharmaceutical, consumer, medical device and biotechnology companies to develop and execute sales and marketing strategies.

PEAK Pharma Solutions Inc. is seeking a highly motivated, results-oriented professional for the role of Virtual Oncology Sales Representative to support a sales/marketing program on behalf of a well-established pharmaceutical organization – Lilly Canada. In this role, you’ll work to promote Lilly’s oncology medications in the healthcare professional environment. You’ll be an integral part of developing a local presence on behalf of our client. You will:

  • Seek out new business relationships through virtual engagements, email campaigns, social media tools and other prospecting techniques to increase sales and gather email consent
  • Assists the field sales team in spreading brand awareness through organizing and participating in lead generation activity including marketing campaigns and conferences
  • Capture key information discussed during calls in the Veeva CRM
  • Deliver key selling messages to Specialists based on client approved call guide
  • Manage relationships with the key influencers, and Lilly regular touch points to ensure program KPIs are delivered and to attain sales goals
  • Self-sufficient and highly analytical with the ability to assess business opportunities to properly manage their territory and meet call expectations

PEAK is searching for an experienced bilingual Virtual Oncology Sales Representative. Virtual Oncology Sales Representative to grow our client’s Oncology portfolio through several exciting upcoming launches. This individual would have a growth marketing mindset and virtual sales experience in healthcare.

The Virtual Oncology Sales Representative is responsible for delivering superior product knowledge to answer customer questions and inquiries and nurture leads with the goal of converting them to customers.. This includes reaching monthly call goals and building relationships with potential customers to establish trust and rapport.

As the successful candidate, you hold deep knowledge of the health care system, and therapeutic options. You will identify and develop relationships with customers in targeted centres, such as medical oncologists, pathologists, drug access navigators, nurse educators, and pharmacists. You will create a virtual sales call plan and identify your quarterly customer reach goal.

Responsibilities for this role include:

Strategic Account Management

  • Develop trusting relationships with national and regional customers as well as other key stakeholders and respond to their needs
  • Gather insights and leverage sales performance, formulary considerations, and competitive intelligence to diagnose issues and uncover opportunities
  • Develop and deliver solutions (i.e. access, PSP, education, information, referrals, sponsorships) at the centre and national level in partnership with cross-functional team
  • Effectively work with external stakeholders and internal cross functional partners while balancing ethical, compliance, and documentation requirements
  • Closing new business opportunities by providing the sales team with relevant details to complete service bookings

Lilly Oncology Portfolio Expertise

  • Support clinicians and multi-disciplinary team to drive access and appropriate utilization of Lilly Oncology products for patients using the value-based interaction framework
  • Establish a positive reputation for Lilly Oncology within key institutions
  • Providing relevant and timely product information and service

Digital Customer Experience

  • Establish and maintain relationships with customers through digital channels
  • Develop innovative customer engagement solutions in collaboration with cross functional partners
  • Advocate for the customer experience and seamless integration of digital and face-to-face
  • Hand off warm leads to our Oncology Partnership Managers


  • University degree; advanced science degree is a strong asset
  • 5+ years in pharmaceutical specialty sales
  • Self-motivated, energetic and passionate
  • Courteous and professional phone demeanour
  • Knowledge of Oncology preferred, particularly in the areas of breast, thyroid and lung cancers and precision medicines[KR1]
  • Proven track record as a high performing sales professional in a virtual world
  • Customer experience mindset
  • Strong business acumen to identify opportunities through data and insights and plan solutions
  • Exceptional verbal, written and presentation skills
  • Strong teamwork skills
  • Ability to work in complex and dynamic environment, manage time and competing priorities
  • Bonus: comfortable recording videos for sales detailing
