PEAK Pharma Solutions Inc. is presently recruiting on behalf of an emerging leader in AI-enabled clinical intelligence software for rare and speciality conditions with three exciting opportunities in Ontario. We are seeking experienced pharmaceutical sales professionals in the healthcare industry who are eager to be part of this dynamic team. The available positions are full-time and permanent opportunities directly with our client, offering a unique chance to contribute to the growth of this thriving organization. PEAK Pharma Solutions Inc. is exclusively serving as the recruiter for these roles. The three open positions are in Toronto Downtown, GTA East, and GTA West.

Through our client’s proprietary clinical intelligence platform and deep analytical tools, our client allows physicians to quickly understand complex, high-risk patients and place them on the right care pathways.

As a Senior Specialist Representative, you are an experienced healthcare sales professional who helps to facilitate and manage the rapid adoption of our client’s clinical intelligence software technology in Ontario with Specialist Physicians in the community and in academic centres.  Our client’s platform allows physicians to identify high-risk and potentially undiagnosed, rare disease patients in their practice, using proprietary algorithms, natural language processing and machine learning techniques.  The result is that patients with rare and specialty conditions get the care they need faster, lives are saved, and over-burdened physicians get the support our client’s innovative technology can provide. 

Responsibilities

  • Development and execution of the strategic plan for Specialist recruitment and Ontario hospital deployment of our client’s technology
  • Grow and scale our client’s installed base of Specialists in target areas and ensure ongoing engagement and utilization of our client’s technology
  • Ensure Specialist feedback is delivered to appropriate departments for continuous improvement purposes and enhanced value delivery
  • Work collaboratively with the physician recruitment team to ensure the tactical plan is implemented and priorities and expectations are clear.
  • Lead and develop relationships and strategic partnerships with national and provincial Physician Associations, Specialist Societies, and KOLs in various target Specialties.
  • Lead our client’s relationships with academic and non-academic hospitals in Ontario.
  • Develop Specialist champions of our client’s technology and lead the coordination and development of our client’s specialty-specific medical advisory teams in collaboration with management and our client’s Clinical Science team.
  • Inbound Support. Handle inbound calls from interested leads and demonstrate how our client’s platform will address and support current needs in rare and specialty disease patient care.
  • Product Demonstrations. Effectively deliver complex value propositions to physicians, clinical administrators, healthcare executives and their staff.
  • Data Maintenance. Update and maintain our client’s CRM system, keeping a detailed record of all contact with clients and leads following best-in-class processes. Experience with Salesforce CRM.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 years previous sales experience in Pharmaceutical or Medical Device Sales calling on physicians (Specialist and Hospital experience a must).
  • Proven success in developing and executing a comprehensive local strategy to drive physician adoption of new technology, growing a new business and working independently.
  • Experience selling in a hospital setting and strong understanding of hospital stakeholders e.g. Clinical department heads, administrators, Purchasing, Risk, QA, IT, etc.
  • Experience working at a national or regional level as a KAM, CME leader, or Institutional Sales preferred
  • Patient listener with strong communication, presentation, and organizational skills
  • Can effectively deliver complex value propositions either in person or virtually.
  • A quick learner, self-starter, and extremely motivated
  • Embrace Technology in your strategic plans to communicate and maximize efficiency in managing a large customer base and large geographical territory.
  • Driven by a passion to improve the lives of those suffering from rare and specialty diseases.
  • This position is a remote field sales role based in Ontario. Some travel will be required day-to-day and occasionally out of province.
