In this virtual role, you will conduct all HCP engagements virtually (Video calls, phone calls, approved emails, educational events). You will work 100% from your home office. You will be an integral part of developing a primary care presence on behalf of AstraZeneca. You will:

  • Use your exceptional virtual engagement skills to establish positive relationships with General Practitioners (GP) and Family Physicians (FP)
  • To educate GPs/FPs on key benefits and value of our AstraZeneca’s primary care portfolio along with understanding how to support their patient needs
  • Develop and execute business plans for your customers

Requirements

  • 2+ years of successful virtual selling/engagement experience (within or outside of pharma)

In this marketing position, you will be working closely with our Marketing & Sales team in a collaborative way to actualize our marketing strategy, launch new products and guide the team to success of our existing and new products. 

This mix of Rx and behind the counter products takes specialized knowledge of pharmaceutical marketing – marketing to physicians but beyond that to pharmacists and even consumers. What You’ll Do:

As a visionary & ambitious Marketing Manager, you are someone who will set the short and long-term vision and marketing strategy for our company’s products. In this role, you will be part of a small, but growing, marketing team. You will drive the development and execution of a marketing strategy that will improve our brand awareness and corporate identity.

  • Define and develop exceptional marketing & launch plans in alignment with our business objectives including launch plans.
  • Manage key relationships with the health care professionals and Key Opinion Leaders (KOL)

  • Develop and execute your territory’s business plan
  • Adhere to assigned call targets as communicated by PEAK and the client
  • Present the service’s key features and benefits and creatively inform stakeholders about their value with the goal of executing a service agreement with the targeted physician
  • Manage and track HCP engagements to maximize activation of service agreement by the health care professionals within the territory
  • Engage in meaningful dialogue that addresses the needs of the various stakeholders including the patient, and the physician
  • Complete both in-field and virtual detailing with targeted customers based on current environment, and the physicians’ engagement preferences
  • Build trust and credibility to become a true collaborator in commercial success
  • Manage and maintain expense and promotional budgets for the territory within guidelines
  • Gather and report on field insights by accurately recording daily activities
  • Attend various conferences, teleconferences and meetings as required

Requirements

Along with a results-oriented mindset, self-assurance and an engaging manner, the ideal candidate has:

  • 5+ years recent successful pharma sales experience, with established relationships in the General Practitioner & Family Medicine community
  • Documented proven and consistent track record of achieving sales results in recent years, demonstrated by national and/or regional rankings, awards and goal achievement
  • Recent experience in the geography (local market knowledge and existing relationships with targeted customers) is optimal to allow you the best chance for success and commission earnings
  • Ability to travel and possess a valid driver’s licence to drive to assigned HCP accounts unless otherwise specified
  • The drive for self-development, the ability to collaborate, and an action-oriented work ethic, with a hunter mentality
  • Entrepreneurial spirit that results in innovative ideas that best serves the mandate of the program.
  • Ability to effectively conduct HCP engagements using multiple channels (video, email, telephone, in person, etc.)
