PEAK Pharma Solutions Inc. is currently recruiting on behalf of global, research based biopharmaceutical organization, specializing in rare diseases. We are looking for an entrepreneurial, self-driven, agile, and passionate Marketing and Communications Associate to join our client’s high performance team as a full time team member based out of their Downtown Toronto corporate offices.

The work:
- You will work in a cross functional team responsible for organically growing a portfolio of highly differentiated brands. Working synergistically with the medical, digital marketing and field-based sales functions, you will coordinate the development and implementation of our client’s annual marketing plans to influence customer perceptions and behaviour.
- You will be mentored, coached, and empowered to learn by doing. You will have the autonomy needed to be successful and experience diversity in your role, from handling routine tasks to the creation and implementation of high value marketing projects.
Key objectives of the role:
- Develop a marketing plan for a launch brand that will help address the identified issues and opportunities in the patients’ and HCP care flow for an inherited bleeding disorder in women.
- Responsible for identification, mapping and development of KOLs, regional advocates and decision makers nationally to support the launch.
- Develop educational materials to support scientific exchange and support patient care.
- Responsible for coordinating our integrated marketing planning across multiple channels and platforms in coordination with two external agencies
- You are expected to perform ad copywriting and content creation to support online marketing campaigns. This includes writing guest posts for digital PR campaigns, creating articles and other resources for organic search, and have excellent persuasive writing skills and an efficient content creation process.
- Lead the creation and implementation of an annual corporate communications plan to improve our corporate profile and brand perception amongst key external stakeholders and their respective organizations.
- Develop and implement an effective talent management plan to continually attract talented staff with the right skills and competencies by continually showcasing the value of our products and our corporate culture.
- Support the GM in implementing a progressive performance driven culture/system that demands ownership & accountability to results and excellence in every role.
You’ll need:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Life sciences or Journalism
- 1- 2 years of relevant experience is expected but our client also welcome less experienced learners.
- Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite of products
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Common sense and strong communication and people skills
Bonus points if:
- You’ve got great social media skills
- You are fluent in business French
- You have basic quantitative and qualitative market research experience
- You are good at synthesizing insights from data sets
