Commercial Coordinator – Bilingual

PEAK Pharma Solutions Inc. is currently recruiting on behalf of a growing Canadian pharmaceutical organization. If you are an experienced commercial coordinator in the pharmaceutical industry, you will want to part of this exciting opportunity. This position is a full-time, permanent position directly with the client. PEAK Pharma Solutions Inc. is only acting as the recruiter.

Responsibilities and Tasks

  • Support local management and sales teams
  • Assist marketing and medical teams in related activities to secure implementation of local marketing and medical activities according to the Canadian tactical plan
  • Responsible for local office tasks and assisting with local finance tasks
  • Master CRM system and various sales-related databases to assist with intelligence gathering and creating sales opportunities
  • Support the cross-functional team to support, plan, execute and follow-up on the Canadian tactical plan.
  • Will include physician-level customer-facing activities and communication in both English and French (written and verbal)
  • Wholesale and specialty pharmacy activities to support programs and monitor tablet trade purchases
  • Assist with activities executed in connection with 3rd party agencies including adboards, roundtables, and consultant meetings
  • Support the Life Sciences business to ensure existing inventory can satisfy changing demand patterns
  • Responsible for office tasks in Canada and assisting with Finance tasks
  • Verify nature of invoices and liaise with Accounting
  • Liaise between sales, customer service, and customers throughout Canada, including telephone calls and e-mails to customers.
  • Manage backorder reports and communication to improve transparency and inventory management
  • Work with 3rd parties to manage sample distribution.
  • Assist with gathering information, and completing submissions to various entities across the Canadian landscape (PMPRB, RAMQ, StatsCan etc…)
  • Supporting Marketing, Medical and Sales to ensure high quality marketing materials according to strategic and tactical commercial plans
  • Support Canadian Marketing Manager Digital specialists in translating, proof-reading and adjusting marketing materials in line with code of conduct rules.
  • Creating/sending different lists/invitations from Veeva
  • Support Marketing Manager in handling practicalities for marketing materials such as mailings, inventory management etc…
  • Managing cross-Canada databases such as e-mail addresses, contact information etc. for notifications, sales promotions and other potential marketing opportunities
  • Assist in transition to the VEEVA CRM system
  • Work with klarify team to update FaA list, translate klarify website materials and campaigns, assist with coordination of end-2-end C2P models
  • Assist National Sales Manager in sales meetings
  • Assist National Sales Manager and Analytics group with sales analyses and CRM reports
  • Coordinate and assist in national and regional conferences and meetings (booth assembly, registration, materials, cost follow up)
  • Handle practicalities for customers attending educational meetings and learning activities
  • Manage magazine orders and subscriptions for local staff
  • Local responsible for Sales & Marketing Shared drive and reporting marketing material inventory (internal and outsourced warehouse) to Canadian Marketing Manager

Geographical scope and peers

  • Work as a member of the local Canadian Commercial team, and contribute to a successful and winning team
  • Work in close collaboration with the Commercial team as well as Product Supply and Customer Service as required
  • Work with members of the North American Commercial Organization, some of whom may be located in the United States
  • Some travel will be required, primarily for conferences and sales meetings
  • Cross function work with marketing, medical, product supply and regulatory persons

Need for supervision and level of individual decision making

  • Capability to take own decisions and be able to see and act on the potential for improvement.
  • Regular communication with internal stakeholders and capable to work also independently and remotely

Experience and qualifications required in the job

  • Two years experience from Pharma Business is preferable, but is not mandatory
  • Formal education or documented experience of Sales and marketing
  • Academic degree or corresponding education is desirable
  • Strong Language & Communication skills (Fluency in written and spoken French and English is a requirement)
  • Ability to stay focused when working on multiple activities and ability to prioritize
  • Ability to stay focused on achieving objectives when working independently
  • IT experience including user-experience with the Microsoft Office programmes is a prerequisite, with intermediate/advanced Excel and Powerpoint skills
