PEAK Pharma Solutions Inc. is currently recruiting on behalf of a growing Canadian pharmaceutical organization: ASPEN CANADA. If you are experienced in business intelligence analytics in the pharmaceutical industry, you will want to part of this exciting opportunity. This position is a full-time, permanent position directly with the client. PEAK Pharma Solutions Inc. is only acting as the recruiter.

General Job Description:

  • Support commercial team preparing business reports on company, market and in-market product performance
  • Prepare performance reports to track ROI and provide insight into brand and market performance based on data analysis
  • Market and competitor performance metrics including market evaluations for pre and launch planning
  • Support business development projects and analysis and coordinating with cross functional partners
  • Managing MS Power BI relationship and data assessment
  • Support Commercial team with development, tracking and execution of RFPs and pricing strategies

Project/Work Planning:

  • Prepare sales reports from our data sources on sales, brand preference, market share, etc. for our brands and portfolio
  • Identify market trends by class and products on our therapy areas
  • Support ad hoc reporting to assess ROI of commercial programs
  • Create other ad hoc analysis and reporting as needed
  • Constantly look for ways to improve monitoring, discovering issues, and deliver better value to Company business goals
  • Participates in workstream planning processes including inception, technical design, development, testing and delivery of project solutions
  • Develop and maintain RFP reports (pricing, volumes, performance) and update as needed
  • Comply with internal Company policies and procedures

Business Development:

  • Company, market, product and competitor analysis to identify new opportunities (internal and external)
  • Preparation of regular and ad hoc reports to track findings and assessments
  • Securing approval from senior management, when required
  • Liaising with other departments to align reports and evaluations
  • CRM/Sales Excellence:
  • Assist with salesforce operations including targeting and segmentation, CRM call analysis and reporting
  • Prepare regular and ad hoc reports based on team needs
  • CRM analysis to assess customer responsiveness to programs and messaging
  • Secondary sales database management (wholesalers, distributors, etc.) and preparation of sales reports
  • Close collaboration with Sales/Commercial team in evaluating and reporting on sales effectiveness processes and performance
  • Sales Force bonus calculation (semi-annually)

Authority:

The authority and resources required to fulfil the responsibilities of the Business Intelligence Analyst will be provided by management. This includes:

  • Communication to external providers
  • Development and coordinate internal local procedures for the sales department

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, science or related field
  • Computer skills: MS Office for Windows – advanced user, demonstrated expert level MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.
  • 3 years’ experience, with at least 1-2 years prior experience in pharma, preferably marketing, sales or commercial excellence
  • Previous experience with sales data analytics tools and in using CRMs and CRM backend reporting
  • Special programs preferred: CRM – administrator level, MS Power BI

Required career experience:

  • Pharmaceutical experience preferred
  • Knowledge and experience in methodologies and implementation of Sales Force KPI‘s based on CRM data
  • Excellent Microsoft Office & Excel skills required
  • Experience supporting multiple internal groups
  • Database knowledge and experience with CRM systems
  • Ability to multi-task and take initiative
  • Ability to effectively communicate findings associated with data analysis
