PEAK Pharma Solutions Inc. is currently recruiting on behalf of an innovative biotech company focused on providing high-quality medications to improve patient outcomes across Canada. We are seeking an experienced Key Account Manager (KAM) with a strong background in healthcare sales who is eager to join a dynamic and growing organization. This is a full-time, permanent position with our client, offering an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact within the Canadian healthcare landscape. PEAK Pharma Solutions Inc. is exclusively managing the recruitment for this role.

This position is based in the GTA, covering all of Ontario, and will provide a rewarding opportunity to collaborate with healthcare professionals, supporting the adoption of groundbreaking pharmaceutical treatments that enhance patient care.

Responsibilities

The KAM will have an assigned sales territory (Ontario) and be responsible for achieving sales targets for the company’s portfolio, based on key account planning and strategic execution. This role will require close collaboration with Marketing, Medical, Sales, Patient Support and Market Access, as well with other KAMs.

You’ll be an integral part of developing a local presence on behalf of our client. You will:

  • Evaluate the market and understand competitor positioning;
  • Fulfill daily, weekly, and monthly requirements for meetings, leads, and contacts;
  • Submit detailed and timely reports;
  • Investigate the compounding environment (including relevant science and guidelines);
  • Develop and maintain a strategic Plan of Action (POA) based on sales opportunities;
  • Participate in all required regional and national sales meetings;
  • Ensure compliance with good pharmacovigilance practices;
  • Participate in events, conferences, and seminars relevant to the role.

 

Qualifications

Along with a results-oriented mindset, self-assurance and an engaging manner, the ideal candidate has:

  • University degree in business administration, marketing, or another relevant field within the pharmaceutical industry;
  • 3–5 years of experience working with Ontario hospitals (Toronto-based preferred);
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Business acumen, and ability to uncover opportunities to drive business forward
  • Entrepreneurial with a drive to succeed
  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders;
  • Bilingual (English and French) considered an asset
