PEAK Pharma Solutions Inc. is currently recruiting on behalf of global, research based biopharmaceutical organization, specializing in rare diseases. We are looking for an entrepreneurial, self-driven, agile, and passionate Digital Pharma Marketer to join our client’s high performance team as a full time team member based out of their Downtown Toronto corporate offices.

You are:

  • Awesome at creating and executing revenue-generating digital marketing campaigns that are right for the strategy being pursued for the brand. You’ll be responsible for planning, building, and implementing digital marketing campaigns across multiple channels and platforms through all stages of the product life cycle. After campaigns have been launched, you will extract and analyze data and make adjustments to make our client’s campaigns effective.

The work:

  • Ad Copywriting & Content Creation: You are expected to perform ad copywriting and shape content to support online marketing campaigns. This includes writing guest posts for digital PR campaigns, and creating articles and other resources for organic search. You will need to have excellent persuasive writing skills and an efficient content- creation process.
  • Develop Visual Assets for Digital Campaigns: With your advanced knowledge of graphical tools like Adobe Illustrator, you will develop assets for display advertising, email marketing campaigns, or infographic marketing.
  • Administer Websites & Publish Content: You will manage our client’s websites and publish content to support their marketing campaigns. Understanding the content management system and being able to perform technical website optimizations by modifying HTML or CSS code will be welcome.
  • Monitor & Optimize Marketing Campaigns: You will be expected to monitor the performance of our client’s marketing campaigns and optimize them over time. You will use data analytics software tools like Google Analytics to understand how our client’s web traffic is being generated and identify the best opportunities to advance business goals like generating brand awareness or increasing conversions. You will use visual design skills in combination with conversion rate optimization (CRO) software to improve the performance of landing pages and drive conversions.
  • Communicate Results to Leadership: You will need to prepare reports, dashboards, or presentations to demonstrate the results of your work. You will need to analyze campaign outcomes and show a positive return-on-investment from digital channels. You may be responsible for meeting specific KPI targets, such as total conversions, total leads generated, or number of engagements.

Key objectives of the role:

  • Develop a marketing plan for a launch brand that will help address the identified issues and opportunities in the patients’ and HCP care flow for an inherited bleeding disorder in women.
  • Responsible for identification, mapping and development of KOLs, regional advocates and decision makers nationally to support the launch.
  • Develop educational materials to support scientific exchange and support patient care.
  • Responsible for coordinating our integrated marketing planning across multiple channels and platforms in coordination with two external agencies
  • You are expected to perform ad copywriting and content creation to support online marketing campaigns. This includes writing guest posts for digital PR campaigns, creating articles and other resources for organic search, and have excellent persuasive writing skills and an efficient content creation process.
  • Lead the creation and implementation of an annual corporate communications plan to improve our client’s corporate profile and brand perception amongst key external stakeholders and their respective organizations.
  • Develop and implement an effective talent management plan to continually attract talented staff with the right skills and competencies by continually showcasing the value of our products and our corporate culture.
  • Support the GM in implementing a progressive performance driven culture/system that demands ownership & accountability to results and excellence in every role.

You’ll need:

  • Search engine optimization (SEO) –Advanced knowledge of SEO and the ability to create and effectively manage organic search campaigns.
  • Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) – Use CRO to optimize marketing funnels and improve landing page conversion rates. CRO is an essential skill for improving campaign performance and ensuring overall profitability.
  • Data Analysis – Use data analytics to measure, analyze, and report on campaign performance. Analytics skills are crucial for developing accurate insights and making data-driven marketing decisions.
  • Email Marketing – Design email marketing campaigns, then support them by writing newsletters and lead nurturing emails that keep prospects engaged until they are prepared to buy.
  • Social Media Marketing – Expertise in growing high-quality followers and building engagement across the four main social channels: Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
  • Content Marketing – Familiar with the process of content marketing and how to create content that is memorable, shareable, useful, and drives genuine engagement from interested audiences.

Bonus points if you are proficient in:

  • Digital PR – Developing and increasing online presence through high-quality backlink generation, press releases, guest posting, and other initiatives that elevate status and brand(s)/ company exposure online.
  • Website CMS – To fulfill website administration and content publishing responsibilities, you should have expertise in website content management systems – especially WordPress.
  • HTML & CSS – If you understand HTML and CSS you are extra valuable – so you can make changes to a website, customize and perform content experiments, and design landing page.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Advanced degree in marketing, advertising or a related field.
  • Proven working experience in digital marketing, ideally in OTC and Pharmaceutical or package goods.
  • Demonstrable experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, Salesforce, email, social media and/or digital communication campaigns.
  • Experience in designing websites, intranet sites and other custom web based sites. Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints.
  • Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate.
  • Solid knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, NetInsight, Omniture, WebTrends).
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking.
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement.
