The Opportunity

This opportunity is with our VIRTUAL Primary Care division, which is partnered with AstraZeneca. AstraZeneca is launching a new, virtual pharmaceutical sales team with PEAK in order to execute sales and marketing strategies for their primary care brands (Respiratory & Cardiovascular). You will be leading the way with this new initiative, setting new standards for effective physician engagement.

Responsibilities

PEAK Pharma Solutions is seeking a highly motivated, results-oriented professional for the role of Virtual Pharmaceutical Sales Representative to support sales/marketing efforts on behalf of AstraZeneca. In this virtual role, you will conduct all HCP engagements virtually (Video calls, phone calls, approved emails, educational events). You will work 100% from your home office. You will be an integral part of developing a primary care presence on behalf of AstraZeneca. You will:

  • Use your exceptional virtual engagement skills to establish positive relationships with General Practitioners (GP) and Family Physicians (FP)
  • To educate GPs/FPs on key benefits and value of our AstraZeneca’s primary care portfolio along with understanding how to support their patient needs
  • Develop and execute business plans for your customers
  • Engage in meaningful dialogue that addresses the needs of the various stakeholders including the patient and the physician
  • Complete detailing with targeted customers utilizing various virtual channels (Veeva Engage, Zoom, MS Teams, phone, email, etc.)
  • Collaborate with your local representative partners to identify and execute great geographic and customer plans
  • Manage and maintain expense and promotional budgets for your target customers within guidelines
  • Be an active leader and contributor providing insights, learnings, and opportunities to adjust and innovate

Requirements

Along with a results-oriented mindset, self-assurance and an engaging manner, the ideal candidate has:

  • 2+ years of successful virtual selling/engagement experience (within or outside of pharma)
  • Documented, proven and consistent track record of achieving sales results in recent years via virtual channels – demonstrated by national and/or regional rankings, awards and goal achievement
  • Proficiency with all virtual channel technology (, Zoom, Email, MS Teams, etc.)
  • Proven success with virtual selling channels (video calls, phone calls, email, etc.) – Ability to influence, change behaviour, build relationships, and increase impact
  • The drive for self-development, the ability to collaborate, and an action-oriented work ethic
  • Entrepreneurial spirit that results in innovative ideas
  • Comfortable in a learning environment – learning from others, experiences failures, identifying key success factors
  • Willingness to share best practices, provide feedback for the continuous improvement of your team and the company
  • Demonstrate your ability to remain agile, nimble, adaptable, and resilient in an ever-changing environment
  • Comfortable with being uncomfortable
  • Post Secondary Degree
  • Proof of vaccination against COVID-19
