This opportunity is with our HCP detailing division, which partners with top tier pharmaceutical, consumer, medical device and biotechnology companies to develop and execute sales and marketing strategies.

PEAK Pharma Solutions Inc. is seeking a highly motivated, results-oriented professional for the role of Virtual Sales Consultant – Oncology to support a sales/marketing program on behalf of a well-established pharmaceutical organization – Lilly Canada. In this role, you’ll work to promote Lilly’s oncology medications in the healthcare professional environment. You’ll be an integral part of developing a local presence on behalf of our client. 

Key Objectives:

  • Support the commercial team in spreading brand awareness and sharing product information through phone and virtual meetings with HCPs
  • Develop new business relationships by organizing and participating in lead generation activities including email campaigns, social media tools, conferences, and other prospecting techniques.
  • Collaborate with Partnership Managers and Medical Science Liaisons to appropriately triage customer requests and relationships in order to provide optimal cross-functional support to Oncology centres and HCPs and support reimbursement and access
  • Document and share key insights from HCPs with cross-functional team to improve relevance, experience and delivery of solutions
  • Collaborative, self-sufficient, and highly analytical with the ability to assess business opportunities to properly manage customer engagement and revenue expectations

PEAK is searching for an experienced [bilingual] Sales Consultant to grow its Oncology portfolio through upcoming launches.  This individual would have a growth marketing mindset and either inside sales experience in healthcare or pharmaceutical sales experience.

You will identify and develop trusting relationships and nurture leads with customers in targeted centres, such as medical oncologists, pathologists, drug access navigators, nurse educators, and pharmacists. You will create an inside sales call plan and identify your quarterly customer reach goal.  You will deliver superior product knowledge to answer customer questions and inquiries.  Finally, you will liaise with the cross functional team to share insights and relationships which support development of solutions that exceed customer expectations and support appropriate use of Lilly Oncology products.

Deep knowledge of Oncology and/or breast cancer therapeutic space, reimbursement and access environment and existing relationships with HCPs would be considered an asset.

Responsibilities for this role include:

Strategic Account Management

  • Develop trusting relationships with national and regional customers as well as other key stakeholders and respond to their needs
  • Gather insights and utilize sales data, formulary/access considerations, and competitive intelligence to diagnose issues and uncover opportunities
  • Develop and deliver solutions (i.e. access, PSP, education, information, referrals, sponsorships) at the centre and national level in partnership with cross-functional team
  • Effectively work with external stakeholders and internal cross functional partners while balancing ethical, compliance, and documentation requirements
  • Closing new business opportunities by providing the cross-functional team with relevant details to follow up on information, service, sponsorship, access or medical inquiries.

Lilly Oncology Portfolio Expertise

  • Support clinicians and multi-disciplinary team to drive access and appropriate utilization of Lilly Oncology products for patients using the value-based interaction framework
  • Establish a positive reputation for Lilly Oncology within key institutions
  • Providing relevant and timely product information and service

Digital Customer Experience

  • Establish and maintain relationships with customers through digital channels
  • Develop innovative customer engagement solutions in collaboration with cross functional partners
  • Advocate for the customer experience and seamless integration of digital and face-to-face
  • Hand off warm leads to our Oncology Partnership Managers and Medical Science Liaisons


  • University degree; advanced science degree is a strong asset
  • 3+ years in sales
  • Self-motivated, energetic and passionate
  • Courteous and professional phone demeanor
  • Knowledge of Oncology preferred, particularly in breast cancer
  • Proven track record as a high performing sales professional in a virtual world
  • Customer experience mindset
  • Strong business acumen to identify opportunities through data and insights and plan solutions
  • Exceptional verbal, written and presentation skills
  • Strong teamwork skills
  • Ability to work in complex and dynamic environment, manage time and competing priorities
  • Bonus: comfortable recording videos for sales detailing
